They say “there is no growing in your comfort zone.” I am uncomfortable as a new entrepreneur, yet I am growing, inspired and am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in the world. I become increasingly interested in the psychology of human behavior the workplace (cue Insights) and more disenfranchised with planning another layoff or annual processes. Several hundred jumps later, I was only smiles. NOTE: I recall a similar level of excitement and terror on my first skydive. ![]() The decision to leave the world of regular paychecks, benefit coverage, stock, and bonuses was daunting. I recently relocated to another state, am building a home, and have a child in college. In January, I was filled with a sense of excitement and terror having decided to not pursue another corporate job after 25 years in HR but to start my own consulting firm, Incite-HR. ![]()
